The CGFI Leeds Innovation Hub team held a session at the Building Society Association (BSA)’s Annual Conference on 8th May.
The team discussed the role of climate and environmental risk analytics for finance and introduce the work of CGFI. They also discussed the recent Climate Biennial Exploratory Scenario (CBES) exercise of the Bank of England, which CGFI supported, and what was learned from this.
The session included small-group discussions to understand the challenges and opportunities faced by the building society sector in incorporating climate and environmental risk analysis into decision-making and risk management.
