Lukasz is an Associate Professor at the School of Mathematics, the University of Edinburgh, and the Finance and Economics programme director at The Alan Turing Institute, the National Institute for Data Science and AI.
At Turing, Lukasz provides academic leadership for partnerships with the National Office for Statistics, Accenture and HSBC. He is also leading the project FAIR on responsible adoption of AI in financial services.
Previously Lukasz was a Nomura Junior Research Fellow at the Institute of Mathematics, University of Oxford, and a member of the Oxford-Man Institute for Quantitative Finance. Lukasz has a broad research interest in Quantitive Finance, Machine and Reinforcement Learning, Statistics and Mean-Field Game Theory
